Lost one of the coupling pins on the left side on my ride today. Had to run it for at least a 100 miles missing this pin over some pretty rough terrain. Everything looks good visually and appears to be working. Can you break anything running the skid missing one of these pins?
When we got back to a buddies place he had a couple pins like the ones in the middle of this pic. Anyone try anything like these?

I dont think you need to worry the composite will flex a bit but shouldn't crack or break. I rode for probably 50 miles once with no rear mount bolt the one that goes through the tunnel! Noticed it would lean a bit to that side but never didn't look till the next stop!

thanks Kinger. I called AD Boivin because I had to order some new ilders and Mike in Sales mentioned that a good trick to not lose those pins is to put a tie wrap thru the key ring on one pin and connect it to the key ring on the other pin.

That's a good idea, until it pulls out the other one and you loose both pins. Or is that not possible?

I am thinking of doing the wire tie route as well, but I am thinking that if one came loose and was dangling, it might catch the rear wheel and get between the wheel and the track. Any thoughts?

Once I had mine set to where I liked it, I put bolts with nylock nuts on mine. Never had a problem again.
