Took a 140 mile ride today (-25 c) and the skid preformed very well and handles MUCH better. It's going to be an awsome skid. A couple things though. How tight should the track be. I set it in the shop (17 c) with about 1" sag in the track. Once outside the skid seems to shrink and there seems to be alot of slop in the track from the rear mount point idler wheel to the rear axle wheel. It doesn't rachet but it sounds like the track is slapping on the ice build up in the tunnel a bit when hitting some bumps. I'm sure it's no big deal but it's kind of annoying.
Also, I am about 270ish lbs with my gear on and my shock preloads are set on the #4 position. On some of the hills on the trail while traveling at higher speed when touching down after the hill, it seems to almost bottom out, would a higher preload help solve this problem. Should I crank it up to #7 position for my weight.
