I was wondering if anyone noticed when you lift up the rear of your sled and when setting it back down, what part of the suspension hits the floor first?
The front of mine does. When it does touch, the rear is still about 4" off the ground, I've got 136" extensions on it. I'm thinking this is why it pushes/has understeer in the corners. My Arctic Cat XF8000, the whole rail comes down and hits the floor fairly evenly at the same time. I got and used the mounting kit from AD Boivin for my sled and was wondering if I got the wrong one sent.
Thanks

Here's a picture of what I mean

That does look weird. I'm assuming that you have the wrong mount kit. What suspension was originally installed on your sled? It's possible you used a mount kit for a monoshock suspension, but required a mount kit designed for a dual shock suspension...or vice versa.

The tunnel was from a GT that had the Ohlins electronic adjustable skid that I had to swap, but the rest of the sled is a RTX.
I'll get in contact with them this week.

That is wrong kit for sure. If you search in here there are universal instructions you could locate properly by following them and liberal use of a tape measure and drill new holes. Good luck still my favorite skid of all time. Ask when they are going to stop making parts for it?

If someone has access to their sled, can they take a quick measurement from the center of each mounting hole up to the top of the tunnel? Just on the outside of the tunnel is where i took mine. I used a tape and got 6-3/8" at the rear bolt hole and 6-5/8" at the front.

Ok. I called them up, and sent them the picture I had posted here, and they said that was completely normal. Seems a bit off to me but maybe I need to stiffen up my front shocks on the skis a bit so it doesn't "sit -in" as much.
I've got the '08 Ohlins on it, does anyone know what the OEM or the min(soft)/max(hard) lengths are and where it measured from?
