Been thinking of upgrading from a 136 to 144 track. Instead of dumping $400 on a 144" extention for the zx2, they don't have a red one any way, I was wondering if I could just set it back in the tunnel 4" to make up the difference. What problems could this cause. It would give it a better attack angle.

Yes you can check the universal mounting instructions to double check the geometry. Might want to fab up a anti stab wheels. This is what I was going to do before I ended up with the 151 that i have now.

Cool, thanks. I was just thinking about moving the mounting holes back 4". Shouldn't that be all I need to do, except for the anti stab wheels, thats a good idea.

Looking at my options for setting the zx2 back 4" for a 144' and it's looking like I can't do it. It would put the rear mount bolt in the exact spot that the tunnel bends for the running boards. Looks like the extention is the only way to go.

what about going a bit father back and running a 146" track.....just a thought

Brent, I would ask ADB to weigh in on this , your geometry is going to be compromised.
The extension is the only way I would go.... I saw a red skid with a black extention and it looked cool.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah the geometry has crossed my mind also so if I decide to go 144 I will get the proper extention. Black would look cool with the red skid.
