Initial evaluation:
Was real concerned that the ZX2 might not live up to the Mono on My Apex ER. Way too few miles for a complete report. It does ride as well as or better than the Mono and the G bump problem seems to be gone. Have a spot that used to kill my back, no problem with the ZX2. Don't know about durability yet. Hook up is great. Acceleration seems better, but that's just a seat of the pants judgment
Do I like my New Ferrari, hell no gas mileage is terrible, ya sure. Hate my New 'vette too. Doubt if you'll get these answers from any brand new car owner or any other pricey object, at least initially.[/b]

Have found much of the same as you on my seat of the pants dyno. BTW - where's all bumps gone, can't seem to find any that will put the ZX-2 to the test.
So far I'm happy with it

I found some severe bumps yesterday. I switched sleds with my buddy. Same sled but stock suspension. In a 5 mile stretch on his sled, I hit 4 neck jarring, bone crushing, headache bumps. I was hurtin. Also, it generally didnt feel as stable. We returned the same trail an hour later and I was on my sled. We went the same speed. No neck jarring, no bottom outs, not general feeling of discomfort. I was really hapy with my ZX2.
I have about 450 miles on my new skid and have not bottomed out yet...at least not enough that I had that sharp pain through my neck and back like I used to get regularly with my mono.
I would say if you are over 200 lbs, you should upgrade to the ZX2. If you are over 225 lbs like me, it is a must.
The mono worked pretty good for my friend but he goes anbout 180.

Last weekend I rode both my '05 RX-1 Mono, and my friends '08 FX Nytro RTX. Today on the same trail, riding my ZX-2 equipped Turbo a lot harder than I rode last weekend, I find the ZX-2 to be a superb skid. It is way softer over the stutters and small bumps than the FX Nytro RTX, and it takes the big ones like they where not there at all. The RTX didn't bottom out either on the big ones but it felt a lot stiffer. The ZX-2 doesn't feel stiff at all and it still doesn't bottom out, it feels so soft all the way sucking up the nasties with ease.
I didn't ride the FX Nytro RTX past 50 mph over the big ones, at 50 mph the Nytro RTX handled the bigh ones just fine. It will probably take a lot of beating before bottoming. What I found is that the RTX can take a beating with ease but it feels stiff until you really nail it over the big ones at speed. Slow to medium speed is kinda firm.
On my ZX-2 going 50 mph over the big ones were no problem either, no bottoming and if feels a lot smoother and softer over the big ones at speed compared to the RTX. The ZX-2 is soft all the way from slow riding to speeding over the big ones without bottoming.
Again, I'm happy with it
