I would take the shock out of the skid and see if you can compress it. I had shocks for an Arctic cat rebuilt years ago and had the same problem. When the shock was rebuilt it was put back together wrong and would not compress. The company redid the shock and worked when I got it back.

Just loosen the two screws on the back of the throttle block and slide the block towards the center away from the grip to verify.

You don't need to put it in reverse to pull it off a trailer if you don't start it. The track will roll as you pull backwards.

I would check the free play in the throttle cable. Sounds like tors activating. Quick check is loosen the throttle block and slide it towards the center of bars and then check for the same condition.

I don't know of a video that shows that process, but it is not difficult. You do not need to remove the suspension or take apart the chain case. If you want to try it I could walk you through it.

Sometimes the control block is under the rubber grip and you just have to use a little force. As long as you loosen the two screws you will be good to go.

I have used straightline performance scratchers with the clamps that mount the cables to the lower a-arms. They work well and easy to remove if you don't need them.

Shocks off all apex sleds will fit. 06 up the 07 nytro sleds had the wider a arms on them.
