    WRP Tuff boards, need opinions.

Here is mine, powder coat obviously, but gives you and idea. I had a write up on the install on here, I will see if I can find it.

    Nytro RTX center shock blown!

Shock needs to be machined to use the hose, also new oil and nitrogen.

    Nytro RTX center shock blown!

This is a very common issue with the RTX. The fix for this is a HyFlo hose, I personally have seen this issue multiple times on some RTX's I have worked on. HyGear can tell you all about it, the hose from the shock to the resi is too small and creates extremely high amounts of pressure in the...

    moving taillight

Dime, did you use brake line? Thats what I used a few years ago when I did mine, the key is to run the wire through the tube before you bend it.

    Running Boards

2010+ RTX is the same as 09+ XTX and SE, I have WRP on my sled and they look and fit nice. I did destroy a set the first year I had them, WRP warrantied them, the metal broke where your foot goes close to the toe hooks. I am a big guy 6'6 250, I ended up having some braces welded in the new set...

    Skinz Seat kit for Nytro

I have a buddy that has one on his MTX, he also has a XTX. He said he would NOT want to trail ride with the Skinz seat, he said its VERY narrow and VERY stiff. It sure look good and the weight savings is nice but I would not want to ride a bicycle seat down the trail.

    ultra q or mbrp

Most are made from steel, as moisture collects at the bottom from the muffler being tipped up they rust and fall apart. I never understood why all these manufactures make everything from steel then put on a coating that never holds up. Thats why our system is made from STAINLESS!

Sorry Yamaha 10,000 kms and no new changes so bye bye

Thanks for getting my point. The XF is about as good as it gets for what I want to do. It has M inspired suspension, 3.0 pitch track, and gobs of HP and looks sick. For me I was at a cross road, dump more money and boost my nytro and commit to riding it another 3 years or buy something else...

Sorry Yamaha 10,000 kms and no new changes so bye bye

6600+ miles in 3 years, since I had extra gas on the back I would say that it was not the issue. That tow rope has ONLY pulled 2 sleds out of the bush.........BOTH Yamahas!

Sorry Yamaha 10,000 kms and no new changes so bye bye

Guys, I am not trying to bash. I am just pointing out the things that make me wonder, yes the motors are rock solid but if you cant get it started how good is a rock solid motor?? I hope I am back, I like owning a Yamaha and I like this site, but I do not wear blue goggles and I am not brand...

Yup, plenty of Phazers out there.

Sorry Yamaha 10,000 kms and no new changes so bye bye

Bushings, ball joints, subframes, cold start issues, ski's, tunnel icing, exhaust donuts, low fuel range, poorly valved suspension, I think that is a pretty good list. I love my Nytro...... after dumping a pretty penny into it. Part of MY reasoning to buy a new AC was I typically upgrade...

    2012 Arctic Cat Awsome !!

I will bet that the new Cats are far more "balanced" then the Apex, when your talking 4s there will always be a wieght factor, but you also have to understand that the turbo and all things related are going to add some weight as well. I have seen the chassis and they really have got that motor...

Put money down for new sled....

I guess me and MT will be good Achat friend since I too have ordered almost the same thing but a XF instead of a M.

sloppy front end do others find the same thing?

I know what your talking about, the ski axle has the slop in it, the steel bushing in the spindle wears out. I replaced them with some new bronze coated bushings from mcmaster carr, someone had a post with the part numbers. They are longer then the Yamaha ones and will give you more surface area...

Starting to think about the warm days.......

WHOS GOT THE MOST MILES ON THERE NYTRO SO FAR??

Never bent mine like most, I landed on a rock (self inflicted) and it pushed my bumper up and tweaked the subframe, the other Nytro in the pic twisted his from a light side/angle impact.
