thinking of putting a silencer on my 2011 xtx either a mbrp or a ultra q. I don't won't that is loud has hell but one that does sound mean something that don't piss pepole off when you go by there house not that either one will not do that but i think you know what i mean.also dont wont to do a hold lot of other thing to make it run right with these on it.i would like to get a bolt on and go witch one is made better.

I put a mbrp on nytro this year. I think it sounds great. I get compliments about it all the time. There are clips on youtube of nytros with mbrps on them Give it a try.

both of these mufflers are very loud. They also seem to be made very cheaply. A friend of mine went through 3, the muffler would crack on the bottom. They always warranted it but its a Pain in the A$$ to send in and wait for it to come back

Had the MBRP on for about 3000k and had to change it, welds cracking, and it's one of the loudest exhaust out there, gets annoying on long rides. From what we here on youtube, the ultra-q has a throatier, less aggressive sound.

Nfld-nytro... Which cherry bomb do u have and do u have a sound clip? It looks like the angled pipe would fit in the stock location.
Right now I have the 18" one on. It went on really easily, though it won't allow using the plastic at the back.
As it comes it's a little too loud, even here in Nfld where you don't have to worry about disturbing others. But putting a restrictor plate at the back quiets it down a little and creates more back pressure.

I just ordered the new 8" cherry bomb because I plan on putting it under the tunnel. I'm thinking that's going to be louder again, but welding in a cap with a 1" outlet should fix that. And the mufflers are less than $40 CAN, so it's cheap entertainment to play around with them.

The only sound clip I have is without the restrictor cap in place, and doesn't really do the muffler justice. I'm always surprised at how many people tell me they love the sound of the sled with the Cherry bomb.

I can say without a doubt that it's too loud for populated areas, but if you don't have to worry about volume you'll love the nice throaty roar it has.
I need to get a better sound clip, but here's the only one I have.

Oh yeah, I think if Cherrybomb would make their Extreme with a 2" inlet pipe it would be THE muffler to have for the nytro.

What size is the inlet on the nytro?

Most are made from steel, as moisture collects at the bottom from the muffler being tipped up they rust and fall apart. I never understood why all these manufactures make everything from steel then put on a coating that never holds up. Thats why our system is made from STAINLESS!

Have 2800 miles on my MBRP, and it has held up great so far. It is quite loud though, can get annoying on long hauls, or anytime between 30 and 40 mph it kinda drones.
