its stock yamaha rear bumper.

this skis are standard on the XTX in Europe cause they are wider and a little deeper, i think they work great, but i have not tried other types, but for me they are OK.

took a look at the 2010 nytro at the dealer,not a big different,so ill have my old xtx one more year atleast.

I just had to buy my old Mach Z back,bought it new in 96,and my brother in law has had it from 01-09,but hasnt used it at all, i dont now what to do with it ,maybe build a dragster,time will show

we have snow until mid june,but due to the reindeer almost all the tracks will close may 5. and some will be open til may 17. there is plenty of snow higher up on the mountains

+14 celsius high up on the mountain,this makes it worth owning a snowmobile:)

it got a little louder ,maybe like the 06 attack,difficult to say, i can try to take a sound test i can drive here without the muffler if i want to, we dont get a ticket because of the sound or looks.... I bought a muffler from a 08 nytro and it wasnt welded inside,just had to pull it off...

here is a drawing of the exhaust took me about 30 min. to do this,cutting,cutting and welding.

this is the pipe that you see when you look inside the muffler from behind,sort of. I cutted it in 2 about 1inch from the backside,cut this of and welded it back together,took me maybe 30 minits or so, i shall try to draw what the exhaust looks like

i took out this from my stock muffler,so the exhaust is almost going straight trough, and i got a much better sound too

i cut my muffler in 2 and took out the end pipe,so the exhaust is going straight trough it, sounds nice now too ;)! and maybe i saved 200g of weight and MAYBE i will get less ice in the tunnel aswell since the front of the muffler stays colder :Rockon:

the 2stroke needs back pressure,but the 4stroke....i dont think soooo...

I had that rubbing sound too on mine, it was the no-slip wheels that hit the end of the hyfax when i drove over small bumps, i had too grind off some of the rubber on the end of the hyfax plastic thing....

In Norway i paid $300, and had to let the dealer do it, and they have to take the one year service aswell too, to keep the warranty.
