I have always placed mine on the tunnel towards the rear. Far enough back so your feet don't block the numbers. Put it where they can see it and go ride.

V-lite I have an 08' w/500 miles of saddle time. I have to agree with OST. The ergos are not on par with the RS Venture. The seating position is extremly comfortable. Doesn't have a two-up feel when cruising down a trail. With a large cargo rack and a windshield bag the v-lite is not short on...

V-lite Put 300 miles on my 08' v-lite this past weekend. I can tell you it handles great and does not have a 2-up feel. The 08' sits about 2" lower than the '07. Great plush ride and good fuel mileage.

With the skies removed you should gain about 22". Try loading it backwards and let the tunnel slide between the drivers and pass. seats. Rear hatch should close. good luck.

Venture Lite Couch, Picked up my 08' Venture Lite at the dealer yesterday. I did test drive an 07' back in March for about 2 hours. Very plush ride and doesn't feel like a 2-up machine. Torquey for 80 hp and very stylish IMO. Great Ergo's too. When I get more seat time I'll post more.

Are you looking for resistance and/or torque spec's?

How ironic you say that cannondale. My dealer called me Sunday night 10/14 to inform me of a recall on all Phazers. I didn't read about the recall till Tuesday 10/16. Maybe were not dreaming.

I don't understand either what they were thinking gyps, I'll take the larger tank and better price on dealer demo '07. My dealer threw in a 500 mile oil and filter change and the 1 year warranty starts in December when I pick it up. Seemed like a good deal to me.
