The power madd ones suxors
as mentioned above, you can catch a glimpse of a headlight but the surface area of the mirror is too small
It is better than nothing but there has to be something better out there that doesnt look silly
Is it normal for it to be very difficult or "Tricky" to engage the reverse gear?
I find that almost every time I try to put it in to reverse, I have to bump the throttle and move the sled forward a half foot or it just won't go in to reverse
Is this normal??
Need snow soo bad I am getting tired of just playing around with the looks
Here is the sled with the rears all painted white (actually came out ok and the new clear coat is strong so it should last)
Also got the OFT relocator on plus a 3" riser and I put the low blue windshield on
Not sure...
I found that schmidt Bro's racing in Michigan can gut and make your stock can sound better and gain in HP with some weight loss
Unfortunately they are in the middle of No-where michigan
Does anyone know of a place in Ontario that can do the same thing?
I would not mind schmidt bro's but...
Well I put mine on before I ever got to ride it in the snow so my sled will be much better than I ever knew hahahah
the OFT relocator is the 1st Mod everyone suggested in doing when I got my sled. So if the general opinion is to get it first and before anything else, then I should believe...
Installed my new OFT reolcator..
Should have read the instructions the whole way through to the end.
Now I have to go back and re-route the throttle cable and adjust the steering and ski to make sure they are both straight
damn Ontario weather though.. all the snow has gone and we got...
Ok
Call me a pud but the bergstrom page is confusing me
I "think" for my 2010 nytro, triple point (TP8-Q18) carbides
But i am confused! Do i need wear rods? Or ski savers? Or good N'ugly.
I think its just the triple point carbides
Could someone with knowledge tell me if :
A: i am...
Well I hate to admit it But I did not sand first.
I still have my original set so maybe I will sand them and try again.
thanks for the input and confidence boost :D
Does this apply to the 2010?
I turned my rubber mounts around but they look like they shouldn't be. Th eangle of the rubber mount is cut more at the front than at the back so when i turnbed them around, the rear is now squished.
I havent ridden the sled yet but did change them.
Should I...
I used thr "krylon" Fusion paint. And their clear uv im gonna look to see if i can get a white "wrap" or complete white sticker type thiing because i really like the look iver the original black
The paint coat is not as strong as I would have thought. will scratch very easily.. need to figure a better way to paint it but the end result looks really good IMO
I got some extra parts for my sled so I thought I would try something different
I used some spray paint for plastic and a clear coat and went to town
DId 4 coats of white and then 3 coats of the clear coat
What do you think?\Keep in mind my Nytro is the one with the white hood
excellent to deal with. had my parts shipped before I even made it to the bank to pay him.
Arrived in short time and was all there.
Top Notch to deal with
And PS. His sled kicks #*$&@!!
From what I have seen, you can get a 2013 for just slightly more than they will sell new past year models ( I know from experience :( )
for $1,000 plus a bit more tax, I could have had a 2013 Nytro FX
But oh well.. what can ya do..
I g0ts me a new Nytro so all is well :D
OK I got 96 1.325" studs and backers and installed them but then a friend asked if I need to worry about lifting the tunnel or putting a guard or something.
It wasn't mentioned in anything I had read so far so I didn't think about it
I have the 1.25" ripsaw track (121" track)
Am I ok...
I have tried searching on this site as well as searching the net in general but I have not had any luck
In ontario we have to put a license sticker (same thing as a plate but only a sticker) and since mine is new and is fresh, I thought I would just put ID numbers on it and the yearly MTO...
