Couple things.... There is ZERO lag with iTC. Its actually the opposite, its TOO snappy making it jerky and hard to ride in bumps or technical riding, when in sport mode. So guys would go down to standard mode, and then it would be less aggressive and IMO a delayed feel. I rode my buds alot...

If I recall.....tuners found that there was NO ACTIVE knock protection from factory. I believe it was GAP who figured it out to make the factory sensor active. And other tuners followed. Dan

I did everything at first oil change approx 600 miles. Assume you're not tuned yet? Much less stretch if not tuned. Add the rivnuts to side panel too then, makes all super easy. Dan

I guess another reason for riding the sled 600 or so miles(before first oil change) and keep eye on coolant bottle before you add any tune. Problem is, many of these drop coolant level somewhat early on, just due to air in system. Dan

Needs a sharp angle cut, this allows for a much longer open area, make sure opening it faced rearward, also a tiny slit above there where more heat is inside hood, just incase. I would clean off any ice chunks from tip when they would build, this usually is only when riding in deeper powder. Dan
