pete...send them directly to fox...100 bucks a shock recharge and revalve... and if you want to change to the 20 pos hi/lo they can do at that time also...think 90 bucks more? makes the shock very tunable in the right hands
yes and yes...Ive done a 17' and 18' clutch....have the grunt tool to disassemble and reassemble...
maybe they've changed again...but doubt it..
the apex clutch does fit...however is no sort of fix...as the problem is with the firing order/harmonics of the motor...and the stub output...
pete the sw primary spider does spin on...and is shimmed...the shim is a spider only shim...however...a post and spider shim could be made to change belt spacing...in fact Id bet STM has one...
this setup is very like a Cat shimmed primary..
how do I know...I have had many cat primaries and...
I seriously doubt it will have a different state of tune than the regular sidewinder...or they would have been promoting this fact...why do it and not promote it as it would be a huge feature...bigger than any other IMHO
so...its a sidewinder with electric lesser shocks and smaller springs for...
allot depends on your weight...Im 185 with same sled and I run less rebound everywhere and rear torsions on softest and compression on 1... I use a modified racewerx transfer block...
Excellent explanation... Let me say.. The rear qs3r Being very over valved and torsion being on the stiff side... Guys lighter like me setup right can enjoy the skid uncoupled with each shock being completely capable independently right until there's a couple tight fast turns .... Then it's...
it is NOT a replacement...its a spring with the short leg bent to delay or reduce preload...so a modded oem spring...IMHO Id try what travis at Barn of Parts is making first...this idea was mine with travis great engineering work....it will provide a broader range than the modded spring I...
in regards to the 137....there is no spring as of couple months ago....including all of cats arsenal...in fact the spring installed is the "optional light weight spring" ...you'd need to verify this..but I bet its the same with the 129" (shorter long leg)
uncoupled suspensions do not have a transfer block setup ....removing essentially accomplishes the same thing...however...the rebound the qs3r and the stiff torsion spring are factors here as well...and the weight of the rider vs opposing forces...
pulling the rod and blocks un-couples...if you arent lifting the skis enough then...its either the limiter strap and or rebound setting on the rear qrs3r
