Is it that important to prove that you are right? Its no longer correct and for all the matters it could still change in production.
Cripes is a 6 letter word used in place of many 4 letter words. I hear you on being called out but don't take it personally. Think of VX1R as engineer that actually works and lives on the things he makes. I haven't ever seen him state a fact that wasn't fact or haven't found one yet! I saw the mistake awhile ago too but figured you might get upset if I brought it up and you made the main point clear that the better shock setup very well may be on the 141.i dont like being called out on national tv - and wrong at that - i wish i had a pic of what i saw on the web sit a few weeks ago - it didnt say aluminum but thats not the point - thank ---- o nevermind - walking awayyyy - whats a cripes?

Well the electronic shocks are untested by public and wires and hoses in the skid are definitely very prone to failure. I believe the rebound adjuster is also gone from these new shocks and I also believe it's 1/2in shaft compared to the QS3r's 5/8 shafts on the LE's last year. IF they have 1/2 in shafts then it's a good thing they are electronic adjusted since there is a big difference going from QS3 to QS3r the 5/8 shafts move way more oil in shock and in turn gives a shock a much broader range. Doesn't have to be adjusted as often if ever. The QS3 with 1/2in which I believe is exactly what these electronic adjust shocks are had to be adjusted a lot for a decent ride vs many shocks at least for me and my buddies. Simple but switch will be simpler but easier yet is not having to do anything at all. Keep in mind all this is speculation since they can Change anything between now and delivery.

I checked with my salesman today. Sounds like the SXR wasn’t a big hit in our area. I really think there wasn’t enough change for people to “uprgrade” to the new and improved Sidewinder. IMO from customers like me that are very happy happy with our old Sidewinder.

From what I understand from a Yamaha rep, it's more like a 240 HP tune. He has yet to be wrong, so even though is 30 HP down from what you're saying, it's still A LOT. I didn't order an SRX due to the price (or the track, to be honest), but it looks like an amazing machine.

I seriously doubt it will have a different state of tune than the regular sidewinder...or they would have been promoting this fact...why do it and not promote it as it would be a huge feature...bigger than any other IMHO
so...its a sidewinder with electric lesser shocks and smaller springs for a lower ride with a 1" track...but a sharp one at that...
