I said you can have the boost to race.
Nice friendly race. We can video it and I’ll even buy you a beer after. Win or lose. I just don’t see the 998 as king when I see what my current 850 n/a runs like.
But I would put a 225 or 240 tune in just in case so it’s closer! Lol
Since drag racing started I guess
But like I say as long as you agree you’re in the club. Lol
And their is no argument that the 998 is a good sled. Some of us have found better in our opinions. Is that fair?
Why is it hard to believe a lighter sled out accelerates a 998. A 998 can be made...
Hmm
Seems like what I said?
If you’re going out to drag race with studs that penetrate a lug height 1/8 inch it’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
We have a 18 Tcat that cannot beat our clutched 850 poos. They are running 98 in 660 on radar.
On the other hand when I race others with 270...
I find that there is no knowledge on this topic when you own both with what I read in some of these comments. It’s better to say the 998 wins, always!
Then you get the trolling comments. It started out comparing other brands?
 Till next winter. I can’t wait
I trail ride. Billet front and rear clutches are expensive. I prefer them and some don’t. It’s my opinion. I run gears that are over 500 a set but have never had a failure. Tunes, headers, turbos, ect and it all adds up!!
Everyone has their own style and what they like and I respect that...
I have a 998. I guess I should be sorry for that because when owning one it’s the holy grail of machines! I also said I’d meet you for a friendly race next winter in the up. I didn’t say I would win either but sounds like I said something that hurt your little feelings. Lol
I did say a stock...
No troll
Just race on lakes with fast sleds and don’t have my head buried in the sand.
I have to laugh is all at some comments. It’s all in good fun but to each there own. I still have a 998. I just don’t ride it.
They all are nice. If everyone thought the same I guess we would only have...
You can say this and argue it but I haven’t owned a 998 without 4-6 k more in parts on it. Start with garbage clutches and that takes care of stand alone ecu. And the parts go on and on.
I say at least skidoo is trying and good for them to continue. Competition is a good thing and maybe they...
I know that’s why lol and I joked back.
I may run 13.5 wide on my poo. Had many 14 wides on previous cats.
Have had non r rated tracks in 140s so maybe they aren’t needed but I think it was more for liability. Poo has been sued a lot it seems
Yep. Lol
Just like the rest of us that run 13.5 or 14 wide tracks on our turbos.
It’s because we can’t get performance out of them.
Lots of good reading here though, fiction is my favorite! Lol
I agree NY. I don’t know why they have cobra 1.325? Supposed to be r rating on assault shorter...
That could very well be but I bet it’s available this year at some point. But maybe not??
Tracks USA isn’t listing it yet.
15 x 137 x 1" R Ripsaw II, 15 x 137 x 1.352 R Cobra
That’s what they list on boost spec
