I have done many mods to my two Nytros, but for confidence in handling the corners I went with MTX skis with aggressive sno-trackers. I have the best of all worlds and am very happy with this setup. I hope this helps.

Does anyone know if I can buy white loops for my Yamaha MTX skis?

Rocketeer, you have me concerned. I know the angle of the pic and being up on a dolly might have something to do with it, but when you said weird, what exactly do you mean? Are you saying the skid should be pushed back further from the front, or is it a high/low position of the skid in the tunnel?

They are about $2,200.00 complete with install plates. There are only a couple of yellow and red ones left. I purchased the last two blue ones, one new and one demo'ed with an 144 extension.

I have been riding the Expert X for 7 years now and last year I installed the ZX2 into my Phazer. Short winter, only got 200 miles on it. I was very happy with it. Once you ride these suspensions, you can never go back to stock.

I did the longer flap because my skids really like to throw the stuff, it is mainly due to the back sitting higher than a stock skid and missing the flap altogether. I bought the Skins flap and I think it was something like 20 inches. Now the snow should stay in the tunnel and cool the sled...

At what mileage are you needing the change the donuts out? I will have both of my skids out this week, each having under 1500 miles and was wondering if I should make the change to copper now?

I would love to put scratchers on, but I can't find any that you can go in reverse with. I would like to mount them on the skis, this to me makes the most sense.

Correct, I was told the same thing. The production run is 250 units. With the sled market dying, I don't think that is going to happen anytime some. I believe that most of these skids when into Yamahas, which sell the least amount of snowmobiles of the 4 and is not growing. One can only...
