I'm out for next week. Death in the family early this morning requires my being home. Stinks because my son Jarred was coming up. Be safe and enjoy the ride and after ride shenanigans !
2006-2010 were much richer on top for fueling. My 06 Attak turned the tunnel behind the exhaust pipes black until I installed an aftermarket exhaust. 11 and up are leaner up top, likely due to changing emissions regulations . As far as gutting it, no,idea what the 11 and up exhaust looks like...
Been using the C2 Carbon helmet for 4 yrs. and a Moto style for close to 20. Simple solution for wind noise..... Ear plugs. I wear a very soft version of disposable called Laser Lites. Low pressure and can be worn for hours with NO discomfort. I recently purchased a DeltaR3 ver. 1. I'll reserve...
You'd need to add an exhaust sensor of some kind, like an AFR or temps. I'm fairly certain Ulmer uses an exhaust gas analyzer. I know on the turbo and supercharger exhaust they weld a bung for an AFR gauge.
Exup is entirely throttle and rpm dependent. Gutting the exhaust won't disrupt its functioning. BUT, I seem to remember when I purchased my PCV from Ulmer, he added fuel up top to compensate for a lean spot in the factory map. This may or may not be an issue, but with less backpressure you...
YUP! Just read this and had the EXACT same experience when I put mine in. I actually walked away and went back out the next morning and as soon as I looked at the skid.... DOH!
One thing I didn't mention was transfer. M20 transfers pretty well. It's like a Monoshock skid set at a little tight. My recollection of reports on the M10 was that it didn't transfer at all. And as a benchmark for you, I BROKE an ExpertX skid lol. Yeah, I'm hard on parts.
Never ridden an M10 equipped sled, so my opinion may be biased. M20 rocks! Reliability for my first season was excellent. I'm using Polaris rail DuPont slide, with a 136x1.5 Intense track. Around 2700 miles for the season and minimal slide wear. I'm ALWAYS hard on my rear suspension. Bumps piss...

Take a look at how much excess vinyl you have with the stock cover. You sure don't want to compress the replacement foam too much. I had a local guy do mine., and that was 4 yrs ago, so I don't recall what excess there was.
