TORS is kicking in, probably because of your speed sensor
my 06 nytro acted the excact same way when I forgot to plug in my speed sensor after a track install/summer teardown
check for damaged speed sensor, broken wires on speed sensor...
i ran 144 down the middle, with 7.5" carbides. ran 4-2-4 setup with double backers on the 4 bars and single backers on the 2 bars, plastic backers with tall alum. nuts on 1.4" carbide tipped stainless studs. No tears/pullouts or broke studs in 6000kms

I don't believe I recall seeing in the board rules you had to be a current Yamaha owner to sign up, read or post in this forum, besides he was a past yamaha rider. I am a yamaha rider and frequent other brand forums. There was no bash from him, he is just saying that cat fits his riding style...

you can also push a piece of round aluminum or steel bar stock into the rolled edge of the running boards
Does anyone know if I can buy just the grey switch and grommet for the hi-low switch on my 06 nytro. If so what is the part numbers? Or do I have to buy the whole assembly?
I have 2 fuel shutoffs on my 06 nytro, no problems with restricting fuel. Always turn them off for trailering. Also use them when jacking the back end of my sled up for service etc.
42 is speed sensor short circuit
84 is TORS
For 42 check speed sensor behind secondary clutch, and the sensor wiring, also the driveshaft bearing on the same side.
For 84 start by checking throttle cable freeplay and your TPS
or you can rewire them and they work awesome. And it costs almost nothing to rewire. I ran all last season with zero problems.
All you have to do is run them in parallel instead of series. I also added a 1 ohm - 20 watt resistor in series with each element. This way there are no problems...
I hear you about throwing parts to it. I have not heard one fail yet. I ran my sled with the clutch off to see if I could hear any noise. Couldn't hear anything alarming. So I put my clutch back on and plan on riding this year without swapping the tensioner. Not that this post really helps...
