If you know there is nothing wrong with them other than just the miles and time put on them just open, flush out old grease with wd40 and compressed air, repack with good grease! A needle fitting on a greases gun works nice to refill bearing.... A tip is to just do this at the end of every...

Scratch THAT dealer off your list... Every dealer had it sent to them on 12/21/18...They are not trying at all for a Yamaha customer that has a short season as it is! Shi)%^ty service like that gets my motor running and a call to Yamaha.
Just picked mine up with latest flash... just as mentioned earlier it starts quicker and idles very nice now siting right at 1500 rpm I let the sled heat soak and fan run then restart with no effort. It does sound much happier. We will see....
Taking mine in today... Hoping this is it. Read the post above about one dealer pulling three motors to get replaced because of this, I know for a fact THAT it cost Yamaha more for that than doing the right thing and getting these ECMs calabrated correctly. Can only imagine all the "patty cake"...
Sad... Got a new to me viper this winter (LTX-LE)and want to give it a try.... has had the last flash confirmed by dealer (not this very latest) Ill try and get in in for this new flash... This is why the Apex I have ant going nowhere!
Wish I could tell ya I have rode a M20 but I haven't … I have a M10 on my 121 apex and love it! Just spend some time understanding the adjustments on the skid (not hard) and go from there with small changes at a time! Used Fast recommended settings for my weight and then small air adjustments...

I think there so full of Sh*&^@_ there eyes are brown!! I have had my original Yuasa in my 07 apex for 8 yrs or more , cant recall... not a hick-up. On a battery tender at all times when stored for summer. Still using it in my grandkids sled ! Put a new one in the apex just for kicks... There...
You won't have to... Just every other ride!!! Just kidding. Mine is polished also and it seems to last the season. If you have a chance to bring the sled into a heated area once and awhile clean it off and wipe it down with a dry towel.. No standing water.
