The handguard brackets are sportech's, modified bent twisted and polished then I red markered them and clearcoated, but don't use laquer, it ate through the marker

You can lose 5lb+/- when you reattach pump and yes set floats when they are off the floor to adjust accurately

06 rtx Floats at 30lbs no problems, just better handling. Haven't adjusted limiter yet.

i'm running 30lb's, no ill effects just better handling(tons better handling than where i started @ 60lb). I did ? fox, they said run as low as you want (within reason). I might try 25 lb yet

Have a buddy help turn spring as you use your spanner wrench, makes it a lot easier. We had to do this to adjust ours

my track had a mark all the way around from rubbing the shock. With a total of 6tenths of a mile on the odo( I had to try it in the grass just once!!).

I finally got to ride my 06 rtx, put 100 miles on. Started out with 60lb pressure didn't like the handling, lowered pressure to 30lb and it handled like a rocket, it was awesome. Anyways can they be ran this low? rear skid is set at stock. Thanks

Any good ideas on protecting, mounting pump while riding the sled. Just don't want to trash it letting it bounce around in trunk. Thinking of mounting it on belt guard. Thanks

Won't that 17mm head rub on the track drive lugs it's alful tight with the 14mm

sj sorry about the offences! I bought it from max pitts in peru indiana (765-472-2423)and yes they have more rtx's. Also in my quest to find a sled a dealer in jefferson wisconsin (rock river powersports 920-674-9280) had some great deals and seemed fair to deal with.

BLUEDOG I bought it from a dealer about 1 1/2 hours away, he faxed me an invoice to sign and I mailed a Deposit check this morning. I bought it for $8040 w/ cover + tax, and I didn't have to jew with them at all. Hopefully I did ok
