I put JB weld on it! Didn't use any circle out pop can first though! It was pretty sticky when I applied it hopefully it doesn't run down and harden!

Well I was helping a friend with his primary clutch on his 2005 Rage when I noticed this in the case!! I'm not sure why it happened or what kind of material the case is made out of! Do you think JB WELD would hold up????

Thanks for the heads up! You just saved me the time of tearing the seat and tank off! Guess I'll fish them out! Weird thing I tested it today and it's running fine wide open! Seems sporadic! 90% of the time runs fine.

I looked them up on the Yamaha fiche and yeah I never knew you had to change them out! I have some 12",15", and 18" locking foreceps I use for fishing maybe I can get in there with those! I normally run only the crap 87 octane too! From the fiche it almost looks like you might be able to...
I have never changed them and have 9500 miles on it!! Good idea!! Maybe they are plugged and allow enough fuel for low and midrange but not wide open! Thanks I'll give it a shot!

My '05 Vector is having a strange issue! If I'm on a lake with tracks it'll run fine on low and midrange then when i hold it wide open it began acting like there was water in the fuel! Running dying running dying and eventually went black and shut itself down! After a minute it fired back up...
I run 5.7's on my vector. They do push in loose snow no doubt but I have zero darting and a lot less steering effort than my stock skis with 6.5" singles on them. For hard trail riding my stock skis with Roetin XPR-1 6.5" cornered a lot better. If you do go with the Pilots make sure you drill...
It sounds like it left you with a bad taste in your mouth about that motor! Mine fortunately has been great from day one! I've updated just about everything on the sled except for the motor! (Except cam tensioner) I still trust it for solo rides!

Sounds like they failed to change the bad cam tensioner!! Those about the only ones i heard go down besides turbo's and NOS sleds!

I decided it was time to freshen up the clutches on my 05 with some low mileage ones from Hibshman.(Thank you very much by the way!) tossed in my ulmer kit and did a little testing! Slight over rev but i was running down a packed road so I expect it to tone down on trail conditions. Here's a...
I just paid $47 shipped for Yamaha full syn and filter for 3 cylinder kit. That also included a bottle of chaincase lube!

They were re-buildable on my '05 so I'm pretty sure yours are too but I replaced mine with the GYTR piggybacks and I love them!

I tried a open face google combo with balaclava for trail riding and it was way too cold in the Yoop running alot of long grades fast! Like fiddler my Doo Modular has given me frostbite every year too when it's below zero.

That's what i was thinking to about the threads! Luckily this isn't my original skid so I have a spare rear axle but looks like I'm gonna need air ratchet to get it off!!

Well this is a new one to myself! I went to adjust my track tension and the rear axle nut loosens partially thens locks right up! Also my track adjuster on the right side is pretty much maxed out while the left still has play! The track is aligned the same on both sides but I thought both...
