Hi guys I think I am going to get a trail tank this year for my Nytro. Before I do has anyone had any issues with theirs? Overheating? Poor fitment? Leaking? or any other issues? Thanks in advance.
I ride an 09 XTX and my buddy has a skidoo 1200 Renegade. We have run about 1500 trail miles this year. We ride fast and have been riding for years. Our fuel consumption is almost identical at fuel ups, many side by side WOT pulls on wide trails are side by side up to 90 or 95. Top speed on my...
I agree with mike3577 get a big pry bar (your trailer ski tiedown bar works great) and pry it back into place and ride it. my buddy did this and has had no issues since.
x3 If there was a supercharger option I would be writing a check as soon as they became available. Current sled is a 09 XTX with all the bugs fixed and 7600 miles. Yamaha please help me make my decision easy and give me a SC option, Oh and a 4 year warranty too! :-)
Yup. Same issue for my Nytro this weekend in the U.P. with the so called updated relay. Quick tip to get you running if you are on a trip without a hair dryer or you dont feel like tearing it apart. Grab the hotel ice bucket and fill it with the hottest water possible, Look through your right...
Just got back from a 4 day run in the U.P. Tues-Sat. Trails were very good with not as much traffic as I expected. Started at Watersmeet at the casino, rode to Houton stayed the night, then rode to Marquette, stayed at the super 8 (Not too bad to get to it) Then did a 250 mile loop up to...
The SLP anti wear pads will not work on a stock 09 XTX ripsaw track, it has all open windows with every third bar being clipped, I tore a lug down to the core so I put a fully clipped track on. The only way to get rid of the rubber wear is to install track clips. Big bucks. or replace the track...
UPDATE: 6750 miles on my original double strap fix and they still look like they are new, quick easy fix that is holding up. Thats exactly what doubling up does, prevents the straps from rotating up into the lugs of the track and shredding them Decide your fix and ride!
