Thanks.... Just did a follow up boost leak test earlier today and the charge system is all sealed up, tested to 24psi....this is inclusive to ignoring the inherent engineering design flaw on the Turbosmart Kompact BOV, coating the piston valve as stated above really helps however there will...
****WARNING THIS MAYBE LONGWINDED ****
Well let's start, after finally doing a boost leak test due to the odd knock light (3x) one on each tune level last season , I have a leak ! This is on a brand new sled with 0 miles, so it is obvious that the factory spec for clamping force on the intake...
I ran the chain with approx 1/8" travel on the chain tensioner. The spline marks were on the original top gear.... There was no play on this gear, just lubrication clearance ... It also came off easily.... I really believe the spline marks were due to poor quality installation.... As...
I just replaced the top gear with a new gear assembly .... The original one has 2500 kms.... minimal wear just one small area... however I figure this came from poor quality installation at the factory assembly level.... Notice the shaft spline marks on the sleeve bearing coating.... I figure a...
What bushing did you end up using for the top gear.....I can't find the 60695K7 McMaster bushing locally..... do you have a part number and manufacturer of what you used.
Thanks

Also which Biteharder tool the standard one or the professional grade?
Thanks
Rob
Thanks TF for those added details.... My seat heater randomly works, it is quite evident there is a weak/fractured connection, I have ordered the wire already, just need to find some plastic and mold it into shape as you did, i take it you used epoxy to attach the plastic support to the chip...
Hi Turboflash.... What gauge of wire did you use to replace the lead wires from the chip to the connector plug? 18 or 20 AWG?
Thanks
Rob
Thanks for the info..
. Also, the plastic support channel, how did you affix it to the chip?.. Any close up pictures?
Thanks again
Hi.... we are at a crossroads whether to go with a single high HP trail tune or to go with a multi map for the flexibility ..... I would like to hear from multi map users if they found it beneficial for the additional price versus how often you would switch tunes . Also on a multi map how does...
My update.....
Using a brand new sled with 0 miles as reference, I installed the "wedge" as first described with the flats completely exposed a few weeks ago and torqued to 40 lbs..... That locked up any wiggle play the new rotor had... Now stepping forward to today, I removed the "wedge" and...
