So did the 2012 XTX come with a ripsaw or ripsaw 2? If it came with a rip 2 how do I get a new rip 2 in 144"? Camso website doesn't show a rip 2 in 144.

Has anyone installed a set of Elka Stage 4 shocks on your XTX? If so, could you share if you deviated from the factory settings that were supplied from Elka or any other tips to getting the optimum setup with these shocks?

Venture north, front shocks have already been done like the previous post suggested. I'm not sure about the limiter strap. you might want to find out stock hole position then adjust if it's still stock. DF

the Venture GT also has the drone sound so I don't think it's only on the 4 cylinder engines.

The new skis DO NOT eliminate darting. You need to install either bergstrom triple points or snow trackers. I use both depending if bergstrom answers his phone. I thought the 2012 XTX was a little stiff compared to my 2011 XTX. I rode both today and they are both set to "M" in the rear.

I agree with you. I ended up ordering from Royal Distributing. I did get them in about a week since there were no customs issues. They warned me if the box was tagged to be checked by customs it could add up to two weeks. there should be a distributor in the USA.

I have seen some gas stations guarantee no ethanol in their premium gas. Thats how the station is by me. That reason alone would cause me to buy premium. You might want to look in to that.

Put semi aggressive snow trackers on my 2011 XTX. I put on 100 miles last weekend. No darting at all. Just like my previous sleds with snow trackers. I don't change the ski or shim.
