I was at the race and watched it richie's sled was at least 4 sled lengths infront of the other three sleds in one of the heats and this is fact.

This was on the snow and 500' long I dont know what mph I hit but mabye poleclimber does.

Clutching is from testing and tuning with STM adjustable weights. Right now I have no washers on the tip. Double backers and singles on the edge for a total of 6 per lug and 7 per lug every 10th lug. Hindle is good and I have definatly gained on the big end were it is much needed.

Thanks for all the compliments, I just finished it yesterday and let me tell you a project like this takes a long time.

They let me take it for the weekend so I could give Yamaha a few pointers. We floged on her for about 500 miles and took a few pics of the prototype to give you guys a sneek peak so here you go.

Clutching will come after dyno. Still planning on using yamaha primary and secondary. As much as I'd like to run a STM primary I dont think it will be necessary.

About 1k just for the sandblasting and powdercoating. Not including the pricey tunnel supports and XTX bumper.

Flannery will be dynoing this sled at the beginning of next month and he also offers internal engine work for the FX Nytro. Full Hindle and the K & N kit I made myself, went with the tapered design to have more room under the hood. These things are tight enough as it is.

What gains are there by removing reverse and the ignition switch

In stock classes you have to retain the stock ignition (ISR rules) and the lauch or stutter buttons works through the ignition. I dont think it is allowed in stock classes. I have the same issue holding my RPM at the line also.
