I hope you realize how lucky you are to live in the middle of what are in my opinion, the best trails in the world. Since my first trip to Rawdon in 1995 on my new Vmax 600 I have returned to that region with my friend and our wives every year except one. We now stay at a cabin at...
Just got back Saturday. Rode 1300 miles (2100 kilometer) between Sunday and Friday. It was awesome up north in the mountains. Had to ride to Jolliette to get a bogie wheel. Wish we would have taken the truck. There is no snow down in the flatlands. If you are going to go make sure you stay in...
Can anybody tell me why the trails are all closed up in the Lanaudiere region? I am planning to head up there next weekend and the trail conditions are starting to scare me(us). I was wondering if it was too much ice or lack of snow that has them closed.
Thanks
Walman
Thank you hossZ28.
That's the exact information I was looking for. I try to keep all my adjustments inside the factory recommended ranges. I am glad to see I can pull my limiter up quite a bit more! I'll just start by pulling it up about half way from where it is now to the 35mm position...
I posed this question in the suspension area and got no responses. I will see if I have any better luck here
Anybody have a clue as to where my limiter strap should( would ) be set stock. And where they think it should be for that matter. I have had this sled since it was new. I have 9400...

Anybody have a clue as to where my limiter strap should( would ) be set stock. And where they think it should be for that matter. I have had this sled since it was new. I have 9400 miles on it and made all kind of changes to try to stop the darting and hard steering. Last year before I went to...

Now that I think about it I think your right on with that diagnosis. I forgot all about my having the same problem with my 700SXR 5 years ago. Same thing was happening. My wife was beating me in drags and she only had an MXZ500. I ended up bringing it to the shop and they cleaned my...
I've got an 05 Rage with 9000 miles on it. I took the clutch apart last week just to inspect. Bushings seem good on rollers and weights. I put a new belt on too. When I go full throttle my R's only go to about 8200 and then drop to 8000 as the speed increases. Any body know why this would...
Ok
I got an 05 Rage. 9000 miles. I took the pimary apart and all bushings seem pretty good. Brand new belt installed this week. When I hit the gas I go to around 8200 rpm and as I increase speed the R's drop to about 8000. I noticed it because my sled would usually hit 80mph real fast and...

I wanted to let you know. I tried a bunch of different things (including different skis shimming and carbides) and what worked best for me was the Woody's dually carbides. I have heard feedback from people that other forms of "duallys" work better but I haven't tried them yet...
I bought the regular duelys. After I put up my posting I read some other posts about various type of dual runners. Maybe the woodys aren't the best after all. It does seem though that a dual carbide is the way to go.
I do know that I tried SLT and Ski-Doo pilot skis and in anything but hard...
I haven't been here in a while but I've been a member for 5 year now. I have a 05' Rage. I loved everything about this sled except the workout my arms and shoulders got trying to control the thing. This Febuary I bought a pair of the duelys. I wish my first 9000 miles were as nice as the last...
That's what I would do. Mid-season oil change and complete inspection. I went to synthetic after first oil change myself. I'm cheap! I run Supertech(WAL-MART brand) synthetic in everything I own. Some people tell me they wouldn't buy oil there, but I know for a fact it's the same stuff you get...
Well then this probrably won't help you either.
If your gonna change your oil you should have done it before you stored it all year.
I've got an 05' Rage. I changed the oil and filter after about a 1000 miles and then at the end of every season. That way it sits all year with fresh oil in...
I've been pulling skids out of sleds since the mid 80's.
It always kicked my butt lining up the last two bolts to go through the tunnel. I would be on my back wrestling and prying to get them to line up. Last weekend I was working on my wifes Ski-Doo and tried something new. After getting the...
Replacing bearings after 3500 miles??? sounds like somebody has way too much time on their hands. I've got an 05 Rage myself with 6k miles. Last night I popped the secondary and speedo off, carefully removed the seals on those two bearings and pumped em full of grease. Less than an Hour and I...
I can't be positive, but I'm pretty sure TORS doesn't kill the sled. It just limits your engine RPM to a level below clutch engagement. Your choke and TORS system are totally seperate. I have to agree with the last post in that it is some sort of fuel delivery issue. Bad gas or dirty carbs are...
