Have you figured out your AFR yet? I have a 2011 xtx with push turbo set at 7 psi and a switch kit for 10 psi. Settings on my GEMS was green 4.0, yellow 4.0, red 3.0 and yellow/blue 5.0. This way over fueled for trail riding at 1500 ft. Today I was testing and reduced yellow/blue to 3.5, got AFR...
I have a XTX 2011 with 180/190 GEMS tuner. It has only 4 fuel settings @ green 4.0, yellow 4.0, red 3.0 and green/blue 3.5. Starting the engine and gems goes through it's routine, AFR, reads 15.0 for a few seconds then slowly drops to 10.3 until warm light goes out, then to 11.3-12.0. At slow...
How about pulling your injectors and check the voltage so that they are within spec, I believe you got some plugged injectors especially if your using straight unleaded 87. The Yamaha injectors have micro filters in them and will eventually plug up and cause a problem like you have. Get yourself...
Thanks guys for all your reply post for my Attak, the 2 ground blocks above the primary clutch were the problem the one with the black wires had slightly melted the cap and the block with the brown wire was corroded badly under the cap. I cleaned both blocks good and sealed with dialectic...
This is exactly what happened to my 2007 Attakgt yesterday, I have no fuel pump spool up or starter engagement. Blue high beam light on and red cold start up on. No codes on the display. I'll check that block by the clutch, what 10 Amp fuse did you check?
This has never happened to me before, I was riding my sled and stopped for a few minutes to wait for riders. when I went to restart my sled nothing happened, but the dash going through its cycle, at the end the high beam light came on and stayed on. I tried to start sled but no power to the fuel...
You are correct about the bottom chain case bearing seal to the gear oil side for it keeps out junk from getting in the race, The top chaincase bearing I got from Yamaha does not have seals on either side of the races. the bearing had shattered and when I took it out I did not notice a seal on...
I have them on my 17 Sidewinder LTX LE, semi aggressive, adjust skies to zero and reduce front ski pressure to where you like it, if your running studs you will need a little more pressure on front skies, you'll have a totally new sled
Read the instructions first, maybe twice in your case! Never put the long slug in first and bottom it or you will end up screwed trying to get it out later. The weights will warp and bend your slugs. Find out what weight you need to get close to your max RPM. Put the shorter slug in first and...
Bullshit! Sidewinder semi-aggressive on tuner III skis are great! Adjust skies to"zero" tow and adjust ski pressure to less and find your ski pressure to the way you like it, if you run picks get the aggressive, the snowtrackers are offered on Yamaha parts site, they have dual carbide with no...
