So last year I needed to fix my exhaust donuts on my spare apex sled and a friend was helping me. He removed the gas tank. I am now putting it back together myself and the clear hose with strain relief on it has a spring clamp on the end and i can't for the life of me figure out where this...
Update: So I ended up finding a center shock from Zbroz: Exit2 which has both compression and rebound. Its at a nice price point of $599 and was in stock, did overnight shipping and it was set for my weight. I'll post a pic in a few, my only gripe is that it did not come with an adjustment...
Ok, 100 views and nobody has anything!? I'll get it started! Here are the specs of the stock shocks I have on hand... It is my hope we can find good cost effective solutions by doing some digging on the web!

So after searching the forum and consulting the FAQ, I think a new FAQ section is needed. I am currently in a situation where my rear center QS3 is going to be sent out for rebuild. I can't have my sled down, we just got real snow in ME last week! So I am looking at options such as Exit...
Any links for additional parts needed? Also where did you buy it from? My Qs3 is completely blown and I need a shock to run while its out being serviced!
I can't find to many posts about spark plugs people are using for tuned sleds. I can't find many posts with information relating to the stock spark plugs either. I would think this would be good info to have in the FAQ section? Please share your setup and what mods you are running. If a...
Been reading through lots of clutching posts and I’m curious as to what exactly is (clutches are cool). What I mean is how warm would they be before they are considered above cool. When I check my clutches after running hard they are warm to touch, not hot, but not cold or cool. I always...
I did have a slight oil leak so there may be some merit to this. My tune was rich, but I added a wide-band O2 sensor and used the auto-tune feature and it worked great, woke the sled up. You go into the software and set up your desired AFR and she hits the targets, then you accept the changes...
I run Curve XS skis with snow trackers...when it gets warm out and the sled starts pushing, set your front shocks to the #3 position for full stiff and you should be all set!
I always wondered why sleds don’t come with hazard lights... it would sure make it easy to know if someone needed help, or to know there is a problem up ahead....
You start at one end with the rivet gun on the longer flatter surface and work your way toward the bend. once your at the bend use a piece of wood such as a 2x4 remnant and use it as a hammer. It wont damage the material or leave any hammer marks.
I think the TD power trail has a smaller exhaust opening? Mine is a 3” opening... but you might be on to something regarding the tune. At the time I was running the Dynojet Power Commander. I have since switched to TD... but I also had the problem of big plastic gouges from rocks and branches...
