i just had an offer from somebody to buy my 2011 fx nytro xtx. and it got me thinking of what i should get next, either a Fx nytro xtx1.75 or the fx nytro mtx or the apex xtx.
i've noticed that i'm not quite the stand up rider i used to be, i do a lot of distant traveling. i'm about 6'1" and...
i've seen the video several times shortly after purchasing my xtx... so far the most i've seen on the speedometer was 106 stock and 110 with a slip on pipe
I absolutely love my xtx. get a lot of crap about it, so far out ran a switchback 800 for some reason he was only going 80 or so he says, and a 1100 xf (non turbo) only going 70. we were traveling between towns so i waited for them
i got my xtx spring of 2011 and a friend of mine bought a 600 xrs. he was talking big about his machine and wanted to race me. i thought to myself if i loose i can say i had a long track and if i won i can laugh. i had roughly 2000 miles on it already. both were stock and we set for a mile drag...
yeah, both my brother-in-law and cousin have short tracks and both have encountered the same problem, all are fixed, we found out it's normal. 5940 miles on mine 7000 on my cousin's i believe and 3000 on my brother's.
only thing i ran into was some clutch rattle on a idle, that was fixed with some bushings i believe, other than that, performance is steady. Full break in was at about 4500-5000 miles top end increased without any performance parts. thank you guys for your input.
i have a 2011 fx nytro xtx that i have bought in march of 2011. i bought it new and i'm pushing 6000 miles and i am curious of what should i do to make it last longer.
before each season starts i change oil, grease everything that is needed to be greased. thinking to get new drive bearings...
I have a 2011 Fx nytro xtx that now has bent rear shock rods. i took a short ride today and i noticed something was wrong while hitting some bumps, so i stopped and inspected my undercarriage and noticed both my rods around my rear shock were bent in the middle flaring outwards. any quick repairs?
