I had to put the header in then put the muffler in and just put em together . then clamped em ! support rivets were fine. The hardest part was having to separate the header piece from the compression gasket. had to pry the flanges out a bit. but it all went back together fine.

Ya thanks for all the responses , but I figured it out.Had to drop the suspension and pull the manifolds, to get around the exhaust hanger, ( now theres and engineering marvel). pull out the entire exhauast, which is two piece, pull the piece out of the pipe , where it had clamped in , and weld...

ya I kinda figured I 'd have to weld it ..just trying to figure out what I have to do exactly to pull it out ...(shortcuts ) any quick procedures, do I have to remove the manifolds ..etc....

anyone ever have the exhaust break on there 4 stroke . My 05 vectors exhaust broke cleanly right at where the 3 into 1 comes together. It looks like it all has to come out to fix. any thoughts on how or the best way to do it?

did you sync the carbs yet? It is imperative that you do so!

Yep ..I tied the chain to the gears when the ll mark was in the window. took the tensioner out....and the slack went between the gears....at that point the exhaust mark and the intake mark lined up almost perfect. So what your saying is that its alright for it to be a little off to start with...
