Okay, well I'm thinking my best option is to use the black heel
Clicker primary spring (140-400) and tune from there. I'm likely gonna call heel clicker and talk to someone about my specific setup as they know more about what works with their springs than I do.
Does anyone know a good place to...
Aha! That's probably why I was just about blowing blood vessels in my eye trying to put the primary cover back on! So I guess my biggest question is does the second number on the spring matter that much? (Ex 320 on a 170-320 spring) and am I going to lose anything performance wise by going to...
They are the originals I believe. I went on their site an the ones that look like mine they call "heel clicker primary kit" and some other info that might help is I have 4.8 grams on the heel (or shoulder) and 6.0 grams in the middle hole which is spec for an apex according to heel clicker.
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here is running a heel clicker primary kit on their apex or attak? The guy I bought this sled from before weighed about 250lbs and I weight approx 160 so you can imagine why my sled was hitting the rev limiter every now and then. I bought a small scale and...
Oh i know what your talking about when you say loud!! Lol my girlfriend won't ride behind me anymore because she says it gives here a headache lol but I'm young yet so it doesn't bother me lol
Okay thanks for the help guys. I just wasn't 100% sure as I was reading some posts on the nytro forum saying that if you change your exhaust it is neccessary to use a programmer or it can cause problems with the engine running it lean. Thanks again for the help!
Hey guys, I've done a bit of searching on the forum and I can't quite seem to find what I'm looking for, so if I've overlooked something let me know.
Last year I bought a 2007 yamaha attak and have a question about it. This sled came with hauck exhaust on it and I'm worried about running the...
So after A LOT of reasearch I am a little closer to deciding which track I want to run for next year but am not all the way there yet. I have narrowed it down to either the Intense 1.5X136" or the Backcountry 1.75X136". My riding style is aggressive and as of right now i'm about 70% trail and...
Okay that makes more sense now! I was under the impression that instead of actually cutting 1/4" off the whole lug, people were just cutting a notch big enough for the protectors to clear but your way makes much more sense. I think ill just trim the track as that seems like the better soloution...
Attak Heat Exchangers
Does anyone have a picture of the notches they had to make in the track for it to fit? I like the idea of leaving the exhanger protectors on the sled just for the added protection, the only thing im a bit worried about is making the track weaker by notching it. (Easier to...
Okay ive looked all over the forum and i cant seem to find any info on this. Is there any downside to removing the front heat exhanger protectors? This summer i am planning on installing a 1.5" intense track on my attak and from what i can understand you can either notch the track or remove the...
Hey guys and girls, I just recently purchased a 2007 yamaha attak and have a couple of questions about it. My first impressions of this sled are wow! Very fast, love the fact of only having to worry about changing oil once a year instead of topping up all the time and it rides very nice! The...
