And yeah what you describe sounds familiar ...real familiar .........14* angle means more belt contact area... and...
And we were sold on the fact only the SE would be equipped with them and they are only available as a spring order.
If thats not the case then why even bother with a spring order snowcheck... if its got nothing special. ??

Far as tapers go yamm taper is 30mm so you may be fimd someone...
Wanna lose 8-10lbs with out spending 1000$ . Spray pam on your skidframe and up in the tunnel. But thats more like deterring 20-30lbs from sticking to your sled.
Secondly flatlanders rarely find lightweight stuffs on a heavy sled actually survive very long. *shrug* ...

We had an 09 xtx all stock plus a bender clutch kit. Fun sled .. torkee beat but overall kind of a pooch . My tcat on a3/4" lug 121" track would pass it by 300' out and put busses on it while i chased devons rx-1 we had well set up. :) .
Ive since got smart and 136'd the tcat with 1.5"...
Rx upgrades for devon went as follows. Fresh stock motor build by osp. Bender clutch kit . -2 top gear. Gutted muff. Extra seat foam. And we did our own rider forward job. Reloc'd the speedo and cut the windscreen.
Next is a pioneer rebuild/revalve.
Makes the sled alot more fun to...
Being its a 4s crank what exactly are you looking to have done?? Are the journals scored and need turned? Or just a nice emery polish before reuse?
Any engime machine shop should be able to buff up the journals for you .
Second thing to consider other than overall length. stroke and collapsed lengthvas well are all equally important
Get those specs and im sure youll find many options yamki or otherwise.
