Studded my wife's 06 Rage last year and had the same problem. I put a fabbed heat exchange protector on my 05 Warrior. There was a 1/4" difference between that and the ones that came on the Rage. I used rivets to attach some 1/4' alluminum to the existing protectors and have not had any...

I had the same problem with my wife's 06 Rage. I decided to take it to the dealer when I took my Warrior in for it's pre-season check up. When I explained to the dealer what the problem was he said that he knew what the problem was and that there was a bulletin issued on it. We got talking...

Found a DC outlet for plugging in your electric sheild in the 07 accessories catalog. Says that it's for RS models....any reason it can't be put on the RX models? Part # 8ET-W8192-00-KT Thanks RXW10

Yes, the red light goes out indicating that it has warmed up. The problem is that after it warms up and idles at 1400rpm (where it is supposed to), it will stick and idle at 2000rpm. Sometimes higher. It should fall back to 1400rpm. Thanks.

Almost forgot, it's brand new....Zero miles!

After starting it goes to 1400rpm, right where it's supposed to be. the problem is when I blip the throttle. The first time I blip it, it bogs and hesitates. If I blip it again the rpm's shoot above 2000 and then settle at 2000. It will not go back to 1400. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I just bought an 06 Rage and I am picking it up next Saturday. I was wondering if there are any updates that need to be done to the sled before riding next season. I've read that alot of wheels and chaincases were bad on the 06 Apex model. Is this a concern for the Rage? I have done a search...

Just noticed that the belt is sitting down in the secondary about 1/4 inch when at idle. Could this be the problem?

Yes, the kit does include a helix w/ directions to place the spring in the #3 on the secondary and the #6 on the helix. Went on pretty easy...don't recall having to wind anything.

Just finished putting on Ulmer's stage 3 clutch kit and everything seemed fine until I tried to load it on the trailer. Track seems to spin fine until there is stress put on it. Took the panel off and the primary is not squeezing the belt when there is stress put on the machine. Very fine...
