Pretty sure aftermarket exhausts are governed by provincial legislation and not federal. I know aftermarket exhausts in Ontario are a no-no but here in Newfoundland they are ok, although municipalities can have their own by-laws against them.
All I did was add weight to primary with the heavy hitters. Told Terry there my set up and he sent them to me ready to go, I haven't played with them since. Sled really hauls with stock 20/40 gearing and other mods. Adjustable primary weights are probably easiest and best bang for your buck as...
I went 16" needs all the help she can get if you ride in any deep snow. Single biggest improvement I did to sled and that was with the clutching stock at the time.
Maverick is probably the worse mountain track ever made...
Short clip of my sled after changing headers. Only up to 6000rpm, don't like really going WOT in the garage, will try to get a real video when there is snow!
FYI where I'm riding there is no one to be bother with excess noise lol.
Thanks to Mr. Sled for posting this to the site's youtube channel!
Was wondering whats best way to post video here without having to upload to youtube?
Got clip of my exhaust since I added hi-flo headers I'd like to share. Pretty sure too loud for most lol
Thanks
Thanks. He wanted way too much for the imo anyway.
Maybe set of floats down the road, save some weight. Skis usually in the air anyway lol. Or maybe different rear skid first if I come across a decent deal.
Found a guy parting out an attack and has the Ohlins for it. Was wondering if they are a simple swap in or is the front end different on the mountains? He lists them as ohlin front shocks 17.5” open and approx 13” closed if that makes a difference.
He also has rear ohlin with big boy spring...
All i want to know is if shop b (hurricane) did their homework in regards with tunes. Sorry for any confusion. I understand how the tunes work. Pointless to get head ported and not add more fuel so will need to retune if i do that mod. Thats why i want to know if hurricane is legit or are their...
basically all I want to know is how his tunes perform for the PC and ignition module. And if he tunes for specific octane? Like I said the ulmer tune really woke up my sled. If the gains are minimum and I lose the responsiveness I have now I won't do it.
Yeah he claims 15 just with throttle body which be more than what u get from head porting. Its cheaper than porting too. Im skeptical which is why I wanted to see here first.
He said 25hp for porting and the head. Im ok with spending bit of money to get the most out of the motor without going...
Anyone dealt with Hurricane Performance from Ontario? Thinking about giving their Throttle Body Boring a try. They claim 15hp. And based on how that performs try out their head porting.
My only concerned is what their tunes for PCV and IM are like. I currently have a Ulmer tune for 91 and she...
Installed my Super Q on my Apex the other day.
I ordered the black ceramic coated one and it looked good when I opened it up. Only thing is the only part of this exhaust you see is the turn outs which you rivet on at the end but the ones they sent were polished! Still looks good but not what I...
How do you pop the torsion springs just off the rest without actually taking them off skid? Pry bar and finesse? Lol
Guess really not much pressure on them without skid compressed. Give it another go in the morning.
Took the skid out of my apex mtx (posted here since mountain forum is dead) but cant get rear bolts to go in, skid is about an inch too far back. Been messing around with ratchet straps and stuff but cant seem to get them to line up. Didnt have this issue when i changed my track they lined back...
