    2020 Front end

I didn’t read the entire thread and see your pics as the one guy on the last page said no one really offered any real riding opinions so I just posted based on my experience with it so far and while not a 100% complete transition, I felt it was close enough to get a good idea of what it would...

    2020 Front end

I'm not 100% sure the rails are identical but from what I could see visually between 2020 cats and yamahas in the showroom with mine parked right outside, the rails appear to be very close but i don't have 2 rails to lay over the top of each to compare angles or part numbers as i don't see any...

2020 ARS 2 conversion on 2019 and older vipers and cats

I recently converted my 2019 ZR7000 Limited to all the 2020 specs and now have just over 1000 miles on the setup. I also have a second identical 2019 ZR7000 Limited still in the stock trim which will also now get the 2020 spec upgrades if that any indication of the last 1000 miles. Before i get...

    Winder cuts out

Believe me, I tried my #*$&@ off to make them run as they were a blast to ride but after a season and a half of issues and ruining several week long vacations, it wasn’t fun anymore and of course the dealers never heard of such a thing so I was on my own trying to figure it out. I tried everything...

    Winder cuts out

I believe it’s sensor/ecu related. I ended up putting an AFR, boost/vac and fuel pressure gauge on my sled to see what was going on when it happened. It wasn’t fuel pump or regulator related. I tried 3 different fuel pumps and 2 different regulators and still had the same issue. When it would...

    Master Brake Cylinder Failure

Was it the actual caliper itself or the brake line? I had an issue on my 14 that caused the secondary to cut through the brake line at full shift and caused a braking failure. It was covered under warranty and later a recall issued due to improper brake line routing from the factory. The recall...

2019 viper air box on older vipers

They have an updated part number on the top section of the air box for the 2014 which crosses over to the new top half but the baffle plate, snorkel, intake opening, frog skin etc are identical so whatever the subtle change they made to update it isn’t for a performance boost and certainly isn’t...

2019 viper air box on older vipers

The airboxes are the same thing from 2014 to 2020. There wasn't any design changes made to them. Alot of people think its an all new design but I've owned a 2014 viper and now a 2019 ZR with the updated ergos which is the same new ergos on the 2020 vipers and I took both airboxes apart and they...

    Gauges

I've run both gauges in the past and both are good working reliable gauges. The only thing I can say to help make your decision is I found the AEM digital gauge easier to read in the sunlight than the innovate. I run them on my jetskis as well and I find the innovates tough to read in direct...

    Front shock spring

I would agree. i bought and tried the stingray springs in both our sidewinders and then over to our new ZR7000's. There are pros and cons to everything and each person will have a different preference and riding style but for my personal riding style, I will be going back to the lighter spring...

lets hear it for the 2020 Viper

100 differences!? Name them, I'll wait........... Other than the obvious ie: clutches, colors and name on the sled, name these 100 differences you think the 2020 viper GT has on the 2019 ZR 7000 limited.

lets hear it for the 2020 Viper

Sorry for the late response. Was out riding lol. As far as the airbox goes, nothing is any different from my 2019 cat to my 2014 viper. I took it completely down to clean out as it was full of oil because the dipstick markings on the newer oil reservoir are way too high and it will burp almost a...

lets hear it for the 2020 Viper

The new vipers are very similar to the 2019 cats. The Viper GT is comparable to the 2019 ZR 7000 limited which has the new controls, heated seat, qs3’s, led headlight, tunnel flares, new plastics etc. The standard 2020 viper you like if I’m not mistaken doesn’t have most of those options and is...

2020 Viper - new airbox and intake!

To answer some of the questions, I bought a pair of 2019 ZR 7000's last month and took the whole thing apart, even the airbox and its very similar to my 2014 viper airbox. The intake port is still on the bottom and still draws air in from the same location as previous years. There is no longer...

lets hear it for the 2020 Viper

The Viper GT is almost the same as the 2019 ZR 7000 Limited. The only main difference I can see so far is the updated arms and spindles on the 2020 viper. Otherwise they share the new controls, LED headlight, new plastics, standard QS3 shocks and heated seat. I just picked up a new pair of...

    Evolution ECU tunes on Vipers/7000

Is there anyone out there running the Evo viper/7000 tunes? If so, what has been your experience? Worth the money? Looking to keep stock exhaust and possibly stock airbox as I found that taking away the velocity stocks reduces throttle response. Restrictions create response but hinders top end...

    New sled!

Good deal. In the end they are so close it comes down to clutches and color preference. Where did you end up getting it from and what did you end up paying?

    ECU interchange

You can pick up new ecu’s for around $370 from Yamaha and the gauges are about $300. You can buy both and flash it for under $1200. That’s worth it to me or you may be able to find some used gauges and ecu’s and flash for less.

    Storm 150 track

Put the new Storm 150 on 2 sidewinder ltx's last year and have almost 4000 miles collectively and I thought it was a great track. my sleds were stock with clutch kits and 192 1575's double backed down the center and had no issues. Good design with very good hook up and pivots like the old RS2...
