I wouldn't skimp on the oil filter After all the time taking the sled all apart, I would use the recommended Yamaha filter for a few bucks more. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I will try the more expensive belt on my '08 Phazer GT. It doesn't always go into reverse that well. Going forward seems to work fine, with no belt squeal or anything.
