This is from the Yamaha Website. What is the difference. ...besides cost? Can/should I run the more expensive belt on my '08 Phazer?

good question , why?
Its the updated belt for the phazer to have less problem selecting gear from forward to backward. The dealer put one on my phazer fx - 07.

may be differnt compund.
with the polaris belts u have 2 choices of belts that will fit. one is around 60-70 and the other is 140. the 140 is the ones we use on the race sleds. much better perfomance, longer life, better grip and disipates heat faster.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I will try the more expensive
belt on my '08 Phazer GT. It doesn't always go into reverse that well. Going forward seems to work fine, with no belt squeal or anything.
