Thanks for the reply. The LTX or Viper 129" are the ones I am interested in. I am hoping to get some feedback between the two in the handling department from someone who has ridden both. I am leaning towards the 137" myself.

Imo this sled looks very promising. I am surprised Yamaha is not offering the Viper and Viper ltx with blue highlights rather than just the 1 color red option .

Did you notice 10,000 km's which equals about 6200 miles. You might be right about the fairy. I don't have a surveillance camera set up in my garage but just in case I'm going to start leaving her cookies so she keeps coming back.

I have the mono shock suspension (Atack)and I have over 10,000 km's with the original sliders. I was going to change them this fall but decided to go another season. I know some other riders with Apex's that have gone through 3 sets. I believe the sliders initially wear down quite a bit but...

I'm curious to know if Yamaha has come up with some functional mirrors for the new Apex. Jury is still out on the handwarmer's it's only been 5 years for a fix.

correct tools is the #1 shortcut..........the first oil change takes the first timer about 2 hours if you don't run into problems (stripping heads)

I have an 07 attak gt at 1000 km's after a high speed run the inner wheels delaminated. I replaced them with the spoked wheels and now have 3600 km's and wheels still good. At the same time my wheels delaminated my friends 08 LTx 40th also delaminated so it seems that the stock wheels are still...

2007 attak gt getting approx. 18 mpg canadian on groomed trails.

I have the same mid height windshield on my 07 attak gt. The wind protection on the body is adequate (could be better). My hands I have to switch to mitts when the temperature drops below -15 C. I have put on the skinz pro gauntlet and they do help a little. I feel the only solution if you want...

I average between 16 to 18 miles per canadian gallon and I ride fairly aggressive.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the 2008 apex's are quieter than the 2007's. There were two 08's that started up and left and they sure seemed quieter than mine. thanks

I just purchased an 07 Apex ER. I have being reading some posts about bottoming out and was wondering if I should just buy a heavier spring right away and if I do, which spring rate. I am about 205 ibs with gear on. thanks
