How many miles do you have on her? Does it do it more when you first start it? Try plugging the exhaust pipes for a second and listen for any leaks John

Have you checked your antifreeze? Some of these sleds are coming out with 100% antifreeze. Let some out and add some water.

Mine makes the same noise almost like a humming sound only in deep snow.

Thanks Burmad I know. I didn't have any problems with my apex gt bottoming out. I just thought if this is a preventative kit I should install for some extra insurance. John

Thanks for the info Im going to try to get a better explanation from him and then decide if its worth it.

I spoke to my dealer about the handlebar kit and he mentioned that there is a anti-bottoming kit availiable to me at cost through Yamaha. He could not specify exactly what was in the kit but stated it costs approx. $60. Has anybody installed one of these or know what it is? Thanks John

Since you had mice in the exhaust, I would check your airbox. I once found a big nest in my old warrior's box. They had chewed up the foam just under the mesh screen. Just FYI Take care John

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I have a 06 GT and I was thinking of getting additional coverage before factory warranty ends.
