Getting inside ski lift around corners. I have stock coilover shocks. Anyone have adjustment recommendations? Can someone explain how adding preload / reducing preload effect the ski shock performance?

Lifting the tank was the key. Thanks for the advice. Now I just need to add another clamp for the wire since I had to move it

How did you get that to fit? I purchased one and can’t get it to fit against the tank and seat. This is as close as it gets to the tank/seat.

Happened to take a second look at the parts I removed and looks like BOTH sides were damaged. Missed the hairline fracture on the other part. Only had 1,500 ish miles on these. Going to junk the OEM replacement parts I bought and buy aftermarket ones.

Already bought that kit in August. I was finally getting around to installing it when I found the cracked guide. JT’s kit does not come with replacement guides.

I’ve got my track out for “Stingray” Spring and “JT” 4th Wheel upgrades and wondering whats normal for slide wear? Should I just keep riding until next season?

Bought the JT 4th Wheel Kit and was going to install it today. Discovered that the OEM wheel guide was cracked. Glad I caught this before the season started. The JT kit doesn’t come with one. Is there an aftermarket part for this or does every just re-purchase the Yamaha 8JP-G7534-00-00 part?

EZ Out Bolt Extractor ($3.99) worked... kinda....... ended up snapping the head off the bolt then I used vice grips to unscrew it. Took about 5 min. Went to menards and bought all new socket cap hex bolts. $0.59 each. Torx bolts for this application was just a bad idea Yamaha...
