I’ve got my track out for “Stingray” Spring and “JT” 4th Wheel upgrades and wondering whats normal for slide wear? Should I just keep riding until next season?

Measure the wear lines on the sides of the hyfax but these wear like cast iron 2,000 miles is not unusual

I have a stx dx 146 viper there's a lot of wheels on the skid. I have 18,600km of the original slides.

Ran 8k with a 4th wheel kit and fully studded from day 1 and still had some left on original slides.
Was very impressed!!!!

2245 miles with a 4 wheel kit and mine were done.i have to ride on an ice road though to get to the trails.no lube there lol

Once I dropped the wheels down on my skis, there was no place I couldn’t get to.
My slides hated my guts!!!!!!! LOL

My rule of thumb. If I have to ask it’s time to replace. Reguardless of what it is. OEM slides are cheap and in my experience they last a good 2000+ miles. Plus you have skid out so easy change.

Like super1c said if you have to ask just do them piece of mind is worth more than what they cost. My factory hyfax lasted me 2500 miles or so tho

I am at around 4000 miles and will likely change when I get the suspension in the bench although not NEEDED but like said piece of mind

I replaced mine on my winder at 6000 Kms but I didn't need to. They seem to wear so far then that's it.

I like to use the chart as a rule of thumb. I also went with the duponts, which are pricey vs. OEM.

How many miles do you have on them now?

I only run duponts on all my sleds, and as a result have never had to replace one mid season at least. The extra money is worth the peace of mind for me.
