My RTX LE 50th BUILD THREAD-ROCKERDAN

My RTX LE 50th BUILD THREAD-ROCKERDAN

Gotta love RAM mounts, what a great product! So, I removed my "google bag" as it seems this will aid in venting this hot sled, I have no metal grate like Dan shows on his initial posts, just a hole. I think a grate is a good idea to keep things from falling into the hole left by the google...

My RTX LE 50th BUILD THREAD-ROCKERDAN

Well, this is my first "non traditional" sled. Have had Apex , Vectors, Vipers, SRX's, V-Max's, etc, always a more "upright" position, the SW with the stock seat is really rider forward. Even the cheap OEM knee pads made going through the bumps very comfortable IMO. Anyway, I may try the...

My RTX LE 50th BUILD THREAD-ROCKERDAN

Yes, I'm talking about the print on the pads, it's not a sticker like the one that comes with the sled. Any ideas to remove the print without trashing the pads?

My RTX LE 50th BUILD THREAD-ROCKERDAN

I bought the SW console knee pads. Does anyone have an idea on what to use to get the warning stickers off? Would the 91% isopropyl alcohol work or something else? thanks, Fred

    Pilot 6.9 ski's installed

Dan, Thanks for the advice on the TP's. I've been riding for 25 years, but, never did much myself to my sleds myself. Your posts and the time that you take to do them have really changed my whole outlook. I can follow directions and your's are perfect. Keep on posting.! PS Love the new...

    Pilot 6.9 ski's installed

I have the 6.9 Pilots on my SW L-TX-LE 50th. I have the BRP Executive 8" carbides. Has anyone tried to replace these carbides with the Bergstrom K27 8" Triple Points? Would this help with a studded sled in pushing through corners? I ran Bergstroms on my Apex and they were great. Thanks, Fred
