    2007 Apex RTX....Good deal?

Primarily because we plan on making trips out west and my Nytro is primarily set up as an off trail sled. Plus I think the stock skid is going to be to stiff for her.

    2007 Apex RTX....Good deal?

My plan is if she likes it I will swap the skid for an XTX skid and run some extroverts. I am looking at ski/carbide options.

    2007 Apex RTX....Good deal?

Not bad. But too far away. The one I am looking at is a 2 hour drive.

    Apex RTX steering effort....

Yeah it's definitively firm. But if she likes the steering ok than I'll probably put an XTX skid on it.

    New to Yamaha

Marc, I will quote my good friend after swapping sleds for an afternoon (My 09 Nytro XTX for his 10 Renegade 800R) "Holy CRAP. That things feels like a #$@*% crotch rocket!" So while 2-strokes may be faster, the torque comes on so quick and explosive the feel of the Yamaha's is pretty...

    Apex RTX steering effort....

I agree. But I am leery about getting he a trail cruiser that can be associated at all with the word "workout." The more she likes it the larger my sled fund becomes. :-)

    8 or7.5 or 7 ft trailer. .?s

With a 1/2 ton I would go with an inline (7 or 7 1/2) UNLESS I needed to get 4 mountain sleds in. Then I would do an 8 1/2. I also got mine set up with a lot of light and insulated. Makes a GREAT workshop up north if I need to do any wrenching.

    Apex RTX steering effort....

Hey Guys, I am shopping for a sled for my wife and was pretty much sold on getting her an 09 MXZ Renegade. However, I just found a heck of a deal on an 07 RTX. My question is how does the Apex steering effort compare to say the Nytro (what I have) or the Vector LTX? She drove my XTX...

    Trail Supercharger

The new supercharger I mentioned earlier is only a couple weeks from its official release now. As mentioned earlier, yes it's a new company, but they've intentionally kept a low profile media wise until the product was complete, and were ready to go. They've spent the last two years in R&D, and...

    Track for boosted Nytro.

Ok here's the update. I am switching to 2.86 Avid drivers and ordered a 146 XC PRO. If I don't like how it is of trail I will use a 2" challenger. Thanks for the invite input and will definitely keep you guys posted!
