Are you using a "wire" style air filter? Looks like it is collapsing during the long pull and making the prefilter getting sucked in. Is it making you "starve" for fresh cold air and heat soaking the turbo?
Is there any info if it is possible to install a 146" tack with 2.5/2.6" lugs together with 2.86 7 tooth drivers and offset rear axel with 9" rear wheel?
Or is set back of the skid, rail extensions og Iceage rail the only option? To my calculation I need to take up approx 46.4 mm or 1.83"...
The updated ROV kit is a step in the correct direction. But dumping the vent hose into the air filter over the clutches is not a good solution. It will def. need a extended vent hose from the ROV and a catch can.
So there is no doubt we a looking for a permanent solution from you Travis!!!
Arctic Cat also has a part # 0637-533 for a kit. I have ordered it from Country Cat.
It is a kit that supposedly include parts from 1-13 in the picture
To my understanding it i a complete kit. Arctic Cat also has a part # for a complete kit to convert pre 2020 sleds ro the updated heated ROV. AC part # is 0637-533
Anyone have any information on Yamahas updated heated ROV kit for pre 2020 SW models - part number is 90891-50166-00 for the kit. Some internet rumours that Yamaha will be paying for the update
I am not intrested in a debate about removing the ROV. For mountain guys a working ROV is a must so...
Now that that you have had some time with your setup. How are clutches holding up (primary rollers) & beltlife Tarzan? What offset did you end up with with the apex primary & viper secondary?
Or did they change the production ROV? Dan had pics of the demo ROV - or did I misunderstand? Deleting the ROV is not an option for mountain sledding. Beeing able to roll over the sled is a must
