Anyone have problems caused by electrical accessories?

I would like too use aftermarket headlights, but concerned about the increased draw on the system voltage. Please respond with both positive and negative experience. Thank you in advance.

    05 RX 1 monoshock question

9 out of 9 (that i know of) so far, no real answer yet but people are checking into it. The oil(drops) will be on the shock spring, clean it off, work the suspension, check the next day. If there are droplets there again please let your dealer/yamaha know.

    Another "monoshock" question?

LB, I hope your right that they do not need to be greased, but, on my 03 i replaced all bushings and bearings at 5000 miles and on my 04, i replaced them at 8,900 miles. They were spent even though i greased every week. They wear in relation to use, not time. ;)!

    Another "monoshock" question?

I realized that there are no grease fittings on the rear suspension today,i think this is a poor decision. I rode the 05 RX1 prototype for a fair amount of time, when rep was asked why there were no grease fittings, i am almost positive he said their would be on the production model. I have to...

05 RX-1 Monoshock - what does the clicker do?

The dial controls BOTH compression AND rebound damping. Each click has more affect on the rebound damping than compression.

I am 165lbs plus gear, FRA on stiff, preload on 7, ctr. shock tightened 5mm, limiter straps pulled up 10mm, control rods on #4. It bottoms to easily. Bottoming "once a day" is not a base line. You bottom when the suspension can no longer travel, keep tightening until you stop bottoming except on...

Is Yamaha admitting to Jackshaft Bearing Problem?

CONVERT, What i am told the bearing failed then the heat caused the aluminum collar to back off the threaded shaft. I do not know what the tourqe in ft. lbs is but i saw the collar loosened easily by hand on a sled that is new. It makes me wonder if the collar loosened first.
