Haha, Sunday I had a guy with the same 08 FST Switch come up to me @ the hotdog stand & ask how I liked the sled, I said I love the power & ride. He said he hated the ride & the coupled rear skid would not weight transfer & he was always beat in drag races. What can I say some people are just...
I was down @ Spicers in febuary picking up my wifes new FST Switchback, The service dept was full of Doos for coolant usage issues. The 3 guys behind the counter were burnt out over it, The FST is not a perfect sled with wiring issues being the biggest issue, We knew that going in but for ride...
I am running 108 Double Backer 1.5" Extreme Max studs on my viper & love it! Coming from a 1.75" finger track I feel that I lost no deep snow performance & totally gained on the trail & hardpack.
I was riding B2SO's sled against the 800 REV & got spanked first round, I know I had plenty of motor & it was all track spin that killed me. After pulling a few holeshots I figured I needed to be up on the gas tank & that was what it took. My 200# sitting up as close to the gas tank as possible...
LMAO, That second shot proves Yamaha screwed up on the Nytro layout ;)
JK Trust me I feel your pain riding in that kind of snow. Heated running boards would help with snow removal but you are just piling it on too fast & deep.... Thats a good problem to have :)
Edit Nitro for Nytro...
A buddy picked up a 08 800R Renegade & got to watch him run his brother saturday night on his 07 800 Power Tec Renegade, 800R 114 miles vers 800 PT 1600 miles. 07 PT pulled the 800R 3 out of five times. If the PT got the holeshot the R could not catch it & visaversa.
Last year I ran the same 07...
Trim the end of the Q/S that goes on the stud, Just a little off each knob will stop you from ripping the stud from your helmet. If you do rip the stud off the helmet as I did, You can warm up the adhesive backing on the exhaust & get it to stick to the helmet again in a pinch.
I have the...
Ran with Quick Straps for a couple years & went back to the strap. Problem I had was I would let the gogs hang from my helmet when stopped. If it was cold I would get them to frost up when we started riding again. Better seal from the one single strap when powder riding but every head & helmet...

I seen a nice one in the dealer last year with a $1800.00 usd price tag on it! I also missed out on a Snow Sport & Snow Scoot for $800.00 for the pair last year @ a garage sale! :o| Missed out on another Scoot @ a garage sale for $600.00 last year & another in the paper for $500.00 that was...
If you are going to polish use the purple polish from www.californiacustom.com It very easy to use & has a sealer in it wich makes bring the luster back no problem. After using it for three years I can do a tunnel in 10-15 min or 1-2 beers. Most of the time you find the Purple Polish @ truck...
