mine have had slop from new... as a matter of fact, the whole steering has had a LOT of SLOP from new... I have an 07 Venture Lite...

Does your Factory Yamaha Original Part, Tested and Approved for the VL, fit like crap as mine? On Mine the rear holes don't even line up with the sled? Looks like it was made for the Phazer's narrower bulkhead, and an afterthought on the VL... Just curious if I got the wrong one from the...

Please do tell me what kind of rider is meant to ride a sled that cannot steer! We have a LOT of snow here, and I can get about 20 miles before it freezes. You don't think that is at least a bit dangerous?

I can get my sled as ready as I am to ride, but what happens when I can't steer 20 miles down the trail?????? I am going up to Stony River (village) to watch a ball game tonight, just had to add oil for the first time other than at the oil change. Side panel was frozen in, had to beat it...

I believe the premature wear is coming from Yamaha trying to make light weight parts without testing their durability in the real world. You can only make tubing so light before it gives.... I would really like to know who, where and for how long these sleds were tested, to me the answer...
