I’m doing well, just been spending more time with my other project a 78 Triumph Spitfire.
From the looks of the pan it was dripping last year too so I’m guess the seal failed.
I’ll post photos.
Been a long while since I’ve posted on here.
Was about to do my oil change today and I noticed there was some coolant on the frame. After warming it up I can see a drop of coolant on the lowest screw that hold the two halves of the pump together.
I’m guessing the pump needs replacement...
Thanks. That kind of what I was thinking. I actually stalled once, no code.
I checked the wire to the sensor and it looked good. Also no oil leaks from the filter or tank.
My idle has been a little low this year and today when it was really hot the idle dropped low, 1200ish rpm, code 30 came up and the motor stopped. It restarted and seemed fine but it happened two or three time thought out the day.
Now I’ve noticed that it’s not unusual for my sled to see a...
I have used them on another sled (not a Phazer) and they worked but the ones I had would kind of close when you took your hands out so getting them back in was a little annoying.
There is a drain for the air box and if you got oil in it could come out there.
I can’t tell from that photo if it’s the bottom of the air box or part of the engine block I’m looking at.
There was some updated parts (a tube and a grommet) for the reverse gear box where it connects to the chaincase. You might want to look into that if it looks like the oil is coming from the up higher on the chaincase.
Never seen it crack there. I had mine crack just below the chain case from hitting a rock.
It is possible to remove and replace the whole panel but they weren’t cheap. I ended up removing it and having it welded but that looks like it might be tricker to weld and have it last.
I’d look for...
True, you really shouldn’t need to change them often if you always let them warm up properly. I’ve found the worst culprit for plug problems is when it’s cold and there stale gas in the tank.
That said, I have being doing maintenance on my Phazer plus two other Phazers for over 10 years so I...
This may seem like a silly suggestion but have you tried bumping up the idle a little?
There is a little grommet on the front between the a-arms on the clutch side that should have the adjester behind it.
