If I ran the engine dry of oil would the sled not overheat and shut down?

It's actually the ZX2 by AD Boivin and I absolutely LOVE IT! Defiantely a huge improvment over the stock CK skid. Can't really coment more then that becuase I havent had enuf seat time with it, month after the install I dropped 3 valves in the engine.

Just wondering what kind of exhaust I should be looking for to go with some high flow headers. I've been looking at Yoshimura or GYTR but am not sure what I should be looking for. Something that fits a 1000cc sports bike? Thanks for the help, Brian

Bump, I've been looking at this kit aswell and was wondering the same thing. Seems like the consensus from the air intake guru's is that the stock air box is about as good as it gets for the vectors. Probably gonna get it aslong as I dont lose HP.

yeah for the pivot adapter, you will need a new riser too.

Moving the strap up one just puts more pressure on the front skis.

Sorry to hijack your thread yamadoo, But yeah it was running really nice, have the floats at 70psi limiter at mid and spring preload at 4. Still some mild ski lift, but the skid makes the sled a lot taller in the back.
