Any body else having issues?I have been waiting for over a month for a refund on my zx2 suspension, been hearing constantly it will be done tommorrow, then i get an email last week that ill get $200 less than what i paid,AD BOIVIN refuses to pay my early deposit,shipping..But yet i still do not have anything and they have had the suspension for 30 days.A file has been opened at visa and they will now be investigating.I am DIGUSTED with how ive been treated, since i paid in full 4 months before i even recieved the suspension. They gave me 2 wrong sets of instructions(zx67 and zx66universal) to mount the suspension, ive been banging my head trying to explain that the mtx has a different mouting position than the short track so zx 67 template will not work, and that the mtx has a heat exchanger mounted on the right hand tunnell so zx 66 universal does not work either,AD BOIVIN then sends me an email to show me that the zx 67 kit is right....but it is a SHORT TRACK IN THE PIC with extensions and i commented that the zx 67 will work on a shortie BUT THE MTX MOUNTS 2 INCHS LOWER AND BACK ANOTHER 2 INCHS so the suspension template wont work, you can't even get it in the track with the wheels off its too tight due to offset location over the shortie,Ive asked for pics of one installed on a mtx since they told me on the phone that when they made the kit they used a mtx(which obviously is not true),after the zx 66 kit would not work due to the heat exchanger being in the way for the template and the track would hit as well and in both sets of instructions there was NEVER A PIC OF A MTX and AD BOIVIN tells me "we cant have every sled picture you know"im thinking well yeah if thats what sled its going on the instructions should have the sled pic,I called and asked for my money back.I was told to give them some time and they will figure it out,at this point i had enough and had spent 16 hrs trying to make this work without having a crazy attack angle or altering any measurements..Of course AD BOIVIN is now claiming the suspension is damaged(how convienient)and i have no way of proving this,i did not send the mount plates back because i had to grind one down to fit around the heat exchanger THAT they never knew was there..But they requested the mount plates back so they are being mailed out today, which still doesnt explain WHY i have not been refunded a cent, yet the box has been there for 30 days? Now i have to get visa and the better business bureau involved.Yet ive been blamed for lack of installation experience when clearly the instructions for this model are WRONG...p.s ive installed many expert-x's..

Ditch,
I had similar issues when I received my mounting kit. I had the instructions for the shorty model. I called numerous times left messages finally I got a hold of someone. I never did receive the mounting instructions. I had the correct mounting plate just no instructions. I figured it out and used some stock bolts to mount the plate to the rear. After talking with AD Boivin on the phone it sounds like I have it mounted correctly. But I hear what your saying I almost got to the point of returning the skid. I’m glad that I didn’t return it rides nice.

jigger glad to hear its riding great, ill post pics tommorow of what im talking about,i even had one tech say that i was supposed to mount the plate below the tunnel, but no where in any instructions did it mention that, its kinda hard to mess up a plate that you bolt to the stock front hole...but the mtx front hole is way off over the short track front hole, but they dont seem to want to listen to me saying this

Their customer service has not been over the top with me either. I have not been that impressed. Response time is VERY slow. When you do get a hold of them it is usually pretty good. Although I am left to fix the vibration issue myself as they feel it is from my sled. Funny thing, the mono the day before it was removed had zero vibration!!! Yet they still blame it on my sled. Oh well.
I hope your issue gets resolved.

here are 2 pics one of my mtx and you can see where the front mount location is,the 2nd pic is the one ad boivin sent me to show me it fits..but look at the front mount location(stock hole by the upper part of foot rest)..there is a big difference in space, and on the adboivin pic it is a SHORT TRACK EXTENDED TO A LONG TRACK...the mtx has a heat exchanger mounted on the right hand side tunnell that the shortie does not have..
1-the mount kit will clearly not work as it will hit the exchanger
2-when i did use the 1st set of instructions i couldnt get the skid in as it was way to tight..no wonder as the template has to be bolted in the stock front bolt hole..and with the mtx being 2 inchs further back and down THAN THE SHORT TRACK there is not enough room in the track.
3-the universal kit will not work either as it hits the heat exchanger, something the short track does not have..
4-if i had a short track and extended this kit would have worked but since i own a mtx and it is different it will not work...
5-i was told the kit was done on an mtx..which clearly it wasnt..
now i could have made the kit work but then i would have all the wrong geometry, and if something happened down the road i could just see the responce"you modified so no warranty"i didnt pay a grand to figure this out myself..and i was told on many occasions that i must be doing something wrong even though i clearly stated the differences in the 2 machines, like i said before the attitude is they can do no wrong and wont even listen to me..30+days and still no refund,i sent the mount plates back yesterday, but i already know where that is going.."you modified plates so no refund on plates"even though it was the only way to mount their universal kit due to the heat exchanger they dont know about

I was up there last weekend and the first part of the canyon was trashed. The back was pretty virgin. There was a huge group from Timmins killing every hill down to sand but they didn't work there way entirely through.

That's pretty chitty customer service. Are the directions like the Expert-X where they can be made universal? Do you have to use the mount plates they give you?

nikolai..i tried the universal instructions, but there is the heat exchanger on the side of the tunnel that the track will hit,ad boivin cant seem to get that in their heads that the mtx is different than the shortie's,i could alter the dimensions and try to make it work, but for $1000+ i should not have to alter dimensions which would affect the ride,AND would void any warranty since it wasnt installed to directions.i grinded the right side mount plate to fit around the heat exchanger installed suspension and could barely more the revolver...36 days now WITH NO REFUND!!!jeff said that since i still had the mount plates they would only refund a certain amount...well they now have the mount plates and still nothingNikolai said:That's pretty chitty customer service.
